Aston Villa managed to get a 2-0 home win over Norwich last weekend, could that be the start of the Great Escape? Well they have eight points from their last five games but they need a lot more wins if they are to have any chance of staying in the Premier League. Home form has improved in the league not that it took much to do that. They have eight points out of the last 12 and conceded just two goals, though Man City did put four past them at Villa Park in the FA Cup. Villa really should have gone out and got a striker during the January transfer window because they still struggle to score.  They take on a Liverpool side that were knocked out of the FA Cup in midweek and before that blew a 2-0 lead at home to Sunderland. Excluding penalty shoot-outs, Liverpool have gone five games without a win and away from home they have just two league wins out of the last six. The last five games have produced just three goals and two of those went to extra-time. Villa have a chance here if they can get off to a good start and build confidence. I can't recommend backing them to win though and have little confidence in Liverpool either. I go for under 2.5 goals to be scored in the game.
