Elina Svitolina bids to retain her WTA Tour Finals title but has to defeat the world number one Ashleigh Barty to do so. Svitolina has had a great week in China with four straight victories. She won all of her group matches with wins over Karolina Pliskova, Sofia Kenin and Simona Halep. All three of those matches were won in straight sets but she had a tougher match in the semi-final on Saturday. Her match went to three sets but when 4-1 ahead in the final set, Bencic retired injured (the third player to do so this week). Svitolina is up to sixth in the live WTA rankings.

Ashleigh Barty also had a tough semi-final on Saturday. The Australian world number one was expecting a massive match as she took on number two ranked Karolina Pliskova. She lost the first set but rallied to win the next two to reach the final. Barty hasn't had the easiest of weeks with two wins and a defeat in her group. The wins were over Petra Kvitova and Belinda Bencic but she lost to Kiki Bertens. Barty has recently reached the final in Beijing and the semi-final in Wuhan. Her last tournament victory came in June when winning the Birmingham grass event. This should be a good final and a bet on over 19.5 games is the suggested bet.
