This is the second time that Sabalenka has reached the final. Her other appearance in this end-of-season tournament came in 2022 when losing to Caroline Garcia. Sabalenka will end the year ranked number one and victory here will make it five title wins in 2025, four on hard courts.
Elena Rybakina is playing in only her third final of the year and both of them ended in triumph. Before this year, It was a relief when winning her semi-final as Rybakina has lost seven this year. Aryna Sabalenka - Elena Rybakina: Form Analysis
Elena Rybakina won the recent indoor hard court tournament played in Ningbo, China. That was only her second title of the year, the other being in Strasbourg in May. Both tournaments were played on indoor hard courts and Rybakina is yet to lose on this surface in 2025.
