Aryna Sabalenka is playing in her first final at Roland Garros. The world number one beat defending champion Iga Swiatek in three sets on Thursday. That's the only set the 27-year-old has lost in this tournament. It was the middle set the Belarusian lost and then she won the decider to love.

Sabalenka is level at 5-5 in previous matches against Gauff but has won three of the last four. They are 1-1 on clay with Gauff winning in 2021 and Sabalenka beating her in the recent Madrid final.

Coco Gauff is in her second Roland Garros final. The 21-year-old is not just second behind her opponent in the live rankings but the WTA Race too. Gauff ended the run of Lois Boisson in the semi-finals and like her opponent has only lost one set in this tournament.

This is her third successive clay court final but the other two were both lost. We tip Sabalenka to make that three.
