The 30th seed Anna Kalinskaya begins her Roland Garros campaign on Tuesday. The Russian takes on unseeded Czech Marie Bouzkova in round one of this outdoor clay court tournament. Here's our match prediction.

Kalinskaya will appreciate this match not being played until the third day of the French Open. Last week saw her make it to the quarter-final in Strasbourg but withdrew due to injury. Before that, she'd had an excellent win over Jessica Pegula. 

It's been a good clay court season so far for the world number 28 as she also made it to the last eight in Charleston. Kalinskaya has never made it past round two at Roland Garros.

The winner of this match will face unseeded opposition in round two, either Sonay Kartal or Erika Andreeva.

Marie Bouzkova is at 47th in the latest ranking list. The Czech reached a career-best third round here last year but before that had lost four first round matches in five years. Bouzkova also played in Strasbourg last week and had an eventful time.

After losing in the qualifying rounds, she was reinstated as a lucky loser. Then she had to retire from her second round match against Paula Badosa after just six games. We tip Kalinskaya to win this match.
