In a battle of unseeded players at the 2024 Washington Open, Yoshihito Nishioka will face Aleksandar Kovacevic in a first round match on Tuesday. This will be their second career meeting and in this article, we will preview the match and offer a prediction.

Aleksandar Kovacevic is going through a difficult period and has been defeated seven times in his last nine outings. The American is on a two-match losing streak with the most recent being on hard court in Atlanta.
