This week sees the first legs of the Champions League semi-finals take place. Bayern Munich host Real Madrid on April 30 and then on May 1st it's Borussia Dortmund v PSG. Some great players will be on show but what are the best odds for goalscorers in what should be two fantastic matches?

Goals Expected as Bayern Munich Host Real Madrid

Bayern Munich v Real MadridAn exciting week of Champions League football begins with a match worthy of the final itself. Bayern Munich host Real Madrid on Tuesday April 30. What a way to end the month!

Bayern may have lost their German title but could they bounce back and become European champions? They have won the Champions League six times with the last win being in 2020. The visitors have the best record of any team in Champions League history. They’ve won the trophy 14 times with their last triumph being just two years ago. Make sure you read our Bayern Munich vs Real Madrid prediction for what should be a thrilling match.

The Top Bayern Attackers

Harry Kane has had a first season to remember with Bayern Munich. He may not be winning the Bundesliga with them but he’s had a record goal scoring season. The prolific England captain has scored 42 goals for Bayern this season, his best ever performance.

In this season’s Champions League, Kane is second on the scoring list with seven goals, just one behind PSG striker Kylian Mbappe. He scored both of Bayern’s goals when they beat Galatasaray 2-1 at home in the group stages. Kane also scored at the Emirates in the quarter-finals. He’d have loved scoring against his old North London rivals.

Four other Bayern players have scored twice in this season’s Champions League. Serge Gnabry, Jamal Musiala and Kingsley Coman have all hit two goals. Leroy Sane is another player that Real Madrid will need to look out for. Available at good odds is right-back Joshua Kimmich who scored the winning goal for them in the quarter-final second leg.

Our top 3 scorer - Bayern Munich

  • Harry Kane - 2.25
  • Jamal Musiała - 4.50
  • Joshua Kimmich - 12.00

Real have a Triple Threat

While Harry Kane has been having a great season for Bayern, his England team mate Jude Bellingham has had a superb season for Real. He’s their top scorer this season and has hit four goals in the Champions League. He’s 3.4 at bet365 to score against Bayern.

He’s not the top goal scorer for Real Madrid in this season’s Champions League. It’s Rodrygo who holds that distinction with five goals so far including scoring in both legs of the quarter-final against Manchester City.

Vinicius Jr has scored three times in this season’s Champions League and is always a threat. Note that their last seven goals in all competitions have been scored by different players, so they have lots of goal scoring options. Don’t forget you can keep up to date with all the action on our Champions League livescore with live text commentary and updated statistics.

Our top 3 scorers - Real Madrid

  •  Vinicius Jr - 3.40
  • Jude Bellingham - 3.40

Who’ll be on Target in Borussia Dortmund vs PSG?

Borussia Dortmund and PSGThe second semi-final sees Borussia Dortmund host PSG on Wednesday May 1. Dortmund are only fifth in the German Bundesliga, while PSG are close to clinching the Ligue 1 title.

Dortmund have won the Champions League once but that was back in 1997. Their only other final was 11 years ago. PSG are still waiting to win the Champions League and reached just one final in 2020.

These two sides met in the group stages with PSG winning 2-0 at home and drawing 1-1 in Dortmund. Read our Borussia Dortmund vs PSG Prediction & Betting Tips to see how we believe this semi-final first leg will go.

Plenty of Scoring Options for Dortmund

The home side have had 11 different players score for them in this season’s Champions League. No player has scored more than twice for them and they didn’t even get on the scoresheet in their first two group games.

Niclas Fullkrug, Karim Adeyami, Julian Brandt and Marco Reus have all scored twice for Dortmund so far. Donyell Malen is their second highest scorer this season in all competitions but has only one Champions League goal to his name this season. He’d love to get one in this semi-final. Check out all the Champions League odds on our site.

Jadon Sancho is back on loan with the Bundesliga side and he’s also scored just one Champions League goal this season but is always dangerous. Don’t ignore Marcel Sabitzer who is 6.7 at Vbet to score just as he did in the second leg against Atletico Madrid in the last eight.

Our top 3 scorers - Dortmund

  • Niclas Fullkrug - 3.03
  • Donyell Malen - 3.45
  • JadonSancho – 4.60

More goals from Mbappé?

Kylian Mbappé is the top scorer in this season’s Champions League. He’s scored eight goals in what is likely to be his last season for the French champions. Three of his eight goals have been penalties. It’s always handy having a bet on the penalty taker to score in a game. He remains a dangerous player and could well score in this match.

Who else is a threat for PSG? Ousmane Dembélé has had a quiet season in Ligue 1 but has scored twice in the Champions League. He scored in both legs of the quarter-final against Barcelona. Two more goals were scored when PSG won 4-1 at Lorient, so he’s in good scoring form.

With Goncalo Ramos likely to be only a substitute for this first leg, another potential scorer looks to be Achraf Hakimi. He scored at the weekend helping PSG to get a 3-3 home draw with Le Havre.

Our top 3 scorers - PSG

  • Kylian Mbappé – 2.01
  • Ousmane Dembélé - 4.33
  • Achraf Hakimi - 6.50
