On Saturday, matchday nine fixtures in the FIFA World Cup European Qualifiers are nearing an end. While some nations have already confirmed their qualification for the upcoming 2026 World Cup, there are still some dreaming of booking their ticket in North America. At SportyTrader, we focus on the three exciting matchups to watch out for and what can be expected from each nation involved. Let's head into the article!

Kazakhstan vs Belgium

  • Date and Time: 15 November 2025, 15:00
  • Venue: Astana Arena, Astana, Kazakhstan.

Kazakhstan can no longer qualify for the 2026 World Cup in North America. However, that doesn't mean they are not capable of causing an upset in their final FIFA World Cup European qualifiers match.

With seven points accumulated from seven games, they find themselves in fourth place in Group J.

The Hawks' last match in the qualifiers ended in a 1-1 away draw against North Macedonia. That result meant that they've won just one of their last nine competitive away matches. On the bright side, that extended their unbeaten run in the qualifiers to two games.

Belgium have yet to confirm their qualification in the FIFA World Cup European qualifiers. However, there's a high probability when it comes to their chances of finishing at the top of Group J, considering they have a game in hand.

The Red Devils are unbeaten in their last six matches and have won four of their last five matches, including a 4-2 away thrashing of Wales.

In this fixture, they have been dominant, going seven matches without a win. Notably, they have won five consecutive matches.

Georgia vs. Spain

  • Date and Time: 15 November 2025, 18:00 (BST)
  • Venue: Boris Paichadze Dinamo Arena, Georgia.

Georgia have two games remaining in the FIFA World Cup European qualifiers. Despite this, their chances of securing a playoff spot in Group E are slim. In fact, they can not finish higher than third place, meaning they won't be able to make the trip to North America next year.

The Crusaders' performance in the qualifiers has left much to be desired. Having navigated four matches so far, three of those outings resulted in defeat.

A 4-1 away loss against Turkey marked their second consecutive defeat. This comes after suffering a 2-0 away defeat against Spain, their opponents in the upcoming encounter.

Will the home side be able to turn the tables around this time and secure a positive outcome? Find out what our experts have to say in our Georgia vs Spain prediction for more insights.

A trip to Tbilisi sees Spain aiming to maintain their perfect record in the FIFA World Cup European qualifiers. La Roja have won four consecutive matches and during this period scored a whopping 15 goals and conceded none in the process.

In their recent qualifier match, they had no trouble seeing off the threat of Bulgaria in a 4-0 home thrashing. Courtesy of that result, they still maintain a three-point lead at the top of Group E.

Facing Georgia shouldn't turn out to be a mammoth task, considering they head into this clash riding a six-match winning streak.

Greece vs. Scotland

  • Date and Time: 15 November 2025, 20:45 (BST)

  • Venue: Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium, Piraeus, Greece.

Greece are not going to be competing in the 2026 World Cup as they find themselves in third place with three points to their name and seven points adrift of the playoff spot in Group C.

The National began the tournament on a convincing note, beating Belarus 5-1 at home. After that result, things went south, suffering three consecutive matches, including a 3-1 away defeat against Denmark.

The best they can do now is to finish on a high, and that alone is going to be an arduous task. Past meetings against Scotland have seen them lose three of their last five encounters, including a recent 3-1 defeat in the qualifiers.

Will they be able to exact revenge for that result? Check out our detailed Greece vs Scotland prediction for more insights on this game.

Scotland have already guaranteed themselves a top two finish in Group C of the FIFA World Cup European qualifiers. However, their ambitions go far beyond that as they have their sights set on a top spot.

Locked on ten points with first-placed Denmark, a win here, and results elsewhere going their way, it is possible they could find themselves at the top by the end of the day.
