The 2023 Rugby World Cup is going to be one of the major sporting attractions of the year. Fans willl be glued to their TV sets watching all the action between September 8 and October 28 but which channels should you tune into?

If you are in the UK and want to watch the 2023 Rugby World Cup, then it's ITV that you need to be tuning into. Whereas the football World Cup held last year was available to watch on both the BBC and ITV, that's not the case with this important tournament.

It was ITV who won the exclusive broadcasting rights to show the games being played in September and October. There will be radio coverage on the BBC but to actually see the games, it's ITV where you need to be heading. The betting odds indicate we're going to be in for a fantastic tournament.

ITVX is the onlne streaming channel that was launched just before the 2022 World Cup. It's ideal to watch the live games but you'll also be able to catch up on other matches in the tournament if you missed them.

One big bonus with the 2023 Rugby World Cup is that it is being held in France. That's ideal for UK viewers and much better than those early hour games when the tournament is held in Australia or New Zealand. The Friday matches will be shown at 17:00 and 20:00 UK time. Half of the matches that are being shown live by ITV will start at 20:00 UK time with another ten at that time on ITV4.
