Taylor Fritz aiming for another ATP Eastbourne title
The 2025 ATP Eastbourne 250 gets underway this week, and you can keep up with all the action from the grass courts using our tennis livescore tool right here on SportyTrader!
Heading into the 2025 ATP Eastbourne 250, Taylor Fritz enters the competition as the clear favourite and for good reason. In the last five editions of the tournament, Fritz has lifted the trophy three times, in 2019, 2022 and 2024.
The American comes into the tournament riding a wave of confidence too, having claimed his first ATP title of the year last week, beating Alexander Zverev in straight sets, 6-3, 7-6 (7/0) after a lengthy rain delay in Stuttgart last Sunday.
Following that win, Fritz reached a career-high number four in the world and has a 27-13 record for the year, including 5-2 on grass. He also has 11 titles under his belt, including seven on the hard courts and four on the grass.
Jakub Mensik, Cameron Norrie to pose greatest threat to Fritz
While Fritz is the clear favourite, and rightfully so, given his record at this venue over the last five years, Jakub Mensik is a player who has caught the eye in recent times, now at a career-high rank of 17 coming into the Eastbourne showpiece.
The Czech downed Cameron Norrie at Queen’s Club and already has his first APT Tour title in 2025, having beaten the formidable Novak Djokovic in Miami in March. Additionally, he also beat Fritz in Florida when he blasted a stunning 25 aces to the American’s 15 in the semi-final.
Another one to watch this week is Cameron Norrie, who, despite slipping outside the top 60 in the world rankings, remains a danger on the grass. He had a tough schedule at Queen’s but cracks a more favourable one here at Eastbourne, drawn on the opposite end to both Mensik and Fritz.
ATP Eastbourne Women set for wide-open contest

Daria Kasatkina is set to embark on her ATP Eastbourne title defence this week, having overcome all of Emma Raducanu, Jasmine Paolini and Leylah Fernandez en route to the trophy in 2024.
However, the post-tournament favourite is Emma Raducanu, whose last match ended in defeat to Qinwen Zheng in the quarter-final in London. She faces Ann Li in round one, so be sure to check out our Emma Raducanu vs Ann Li prediction for our expert’s insights.
Also featuring at the top of the betting boards is Ons Jabeur, who is 17-15 for the season. The former world number two has struggled with form and injuries in recent times, which has seen her slip to 61st in the rankings.
However, back on grass, the two-time Wimbledon runner-up is finding her best again, having picked up her first Top 5 win in nearly two years, defeating Paolini at the Berlin Tennis Open in the second round last week.
