Manchester United: Can the Red Devils cement their fourth place?
Since Ruben Amorim's departure following a 1-1 draw against Leeds United on January 4th, Manchester United have avoided any sense of turmoil and have shown resilience in their matches.
Darren Fletcher was appointed as interim manager but failed to impress in his first two games, with the team settling for a 2-2 draw against Burnley in the league and being eliminated from the FA Cup following a 2-1 home defeat against Brighton & Hove Albion. This led to him being relieved of his role.
Leading the ship is Michael Carrick, who began his new role as interim manager with a 2-0 home victory against Manchester City in the Premier League. After the Derby success at Old Trafford, followed by wins against Arsenal (3-2) and Fulham (3-2). Can Carrick lead the team to a fourth consecutive league win? Check out what our experts have to say in our Manchester United vs Tottenham Hotspur prediction.
The Red Devils are hoping to build on that momentum and record their fourth consecutive win. Not only that, but this will grant them the opportunity to cement their position in fourth place in the Premier League standings.
So far, they've accumulated 41 points from 41 games and have maintained a one-point cushion over 5th-placed Chelsea. During this period, they've scored 44 goals and conceded 36 goals.
Tottenham Hotspur: Spurs out to arrest their poor run of form

Tottenham Hotspur are enduring a rough patch at the moment. Their performance has left much to be desired, with just two wins in their last nine matches across all competitions (D4, L3).
As far as the Premier League is concerned, they are simply not good enough. In fact, they've yet to register a win since the turn of the calendar year. Heading into this clash, they've recorded four draws and two losses. You will have to go back to December 28th, 2025, for their last league win against Crystal Palace (1-0).
Their most recent league game was a hard-fought 2-2 draw against a floundering Manchester City side. They came from two goals down in that match to salvage a point in front of their boisterous fans. Dominic Solanke was the saviour, scoring both goals for his team.
Having been out of action due to an ankle injury, that was Solanke's second goal in five league appearances for the team this season. He is expected to lead the attack this evening in a 4-2-3-1 formation in hopes of extending his goal tally.
Regarding Thomas Frank's side in the Premier League standings, they are 14th with 29 points from 24 games. This has seen them maintain a nine-point cushion over the red dotted line.
