How to watch the 2026 World Cup in your country
Starting on June 11 and hosted across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, the 2026 World Cup will feature 48 teams and 104 matches for the first time, giving football fans from across the globe more action to look forward to than ever before.
Throughout the tournament, our World Cup predictions will be available to provide you with all the key stats and information for all 104 matches, and below you can find out which TV channel to watch the matches you’ve bet on in your country.
United Kingdom
Thanks to a shared rights agreement, viewers in the United Kingdom can follow all the action at the 2026 World Cup entirely free-to-air on the BBC and ITV. The BBC will provide coverage on its main channels and the BBC iPlayer, while ITV will air matches on ITV1, ITV4, and its digital streaming platform ITVX. Notably, both networks will broadcast the 2026 World Cup final simultaneously. For betting enthusiasts, bookmakers that are licensed by the UK Gambling Commission, including bet365, Betway and Betfred, are expected to leverage their commercial streaming partnerships to deliver legal live-streaming feeds through their platforms.
Scotland
Scottish viewers will have access to the same free-to-air coverage of the World Cup as the rest of the UK through the BBC (BBC Scotland and BBC iPlayer) and ITV. Additionally, selected ITV broadcasts will be carried on STV and the STV Player, including Scotland’s highly anticipated group-stage match against Morocco. Major UK bookmakers operating in Scotland, such as bet365, Betway, and Sky Bet, will provide integrated platform streams for account holders.
South Africa
Like most global sports tournaments, the primary home of the 2026 World Cup in South Africa will be SuperSport, with MultiChoice dedicating four channels to broadcast all 104 matches with multiple language options. In addition, the SABC, the country’s largest public broadcaster, has partnered with local betting giant Hollywoodbets to sub-license free-to-air rights. The SABC will air 34 matches live across SABC 1, SABC 3 and the SABC Sports Channel, including the tournament opener between Bafana Bafana and Mexico. Hollywoodbets is the prominent bookmaker integrated into the tournament's regional media delivery, while other well-known South African bookies like Betway and Sportingbet will also offer live match coverage.
Ghana
Football fans in Ghana will be able to enjoy the Black Stars’ return to the grandest stage through a combination of regional rights holders, including SuperSport and Azam TV, both of which are listed among authorised media partners. Channel One TV and UTV are listed as the country’s free-to-air providers. When it comes to bookmakers, SportyBet has secured digital streaming rights in the region, with matches to be broadcast free on its platform and official YouTube channel.
Asia-Pacific and Middle East
In Australia, SBS remains the home of the World Cup, providing free-to-air coverage of all 104 matches in HD on its main channels and SBS On Demand platform. Across the Tasman Sea in New Zealand, TVNZ will broadcast all the All Whites’ matches, while access to the full 104 matches will require a subscription to either TVNZ+ or Sky Sports.
Over in Japan, Dentsu secured broadcasting rights for the 2026 World Cup, and they have partnered with a range of television and digital platforms to ensure nationwide coverage, including NHK, Nippon TV, Fuji TV and DAZN. For football lovers in Saudi Arabia, beIN Sports holds the broadcasting rights across the majority of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) regions.
