The British and Irish Lions head coach, Andy Farrell, has opted to break the norm by bringing in several fresh faces for the team's upcoming tour. In total, the Lions have handed out 26 first-time call-ups, underlining Farrell’s intentions of ushering in a fresh and new approach.
Featuring in the 38 players set to travel Down Under are 15 players from Ireland, 13 from England, eight from Scotland, and Wales have two representatives. England lock Maro Itoje has been elected as the captain to lead the team over the next two months.
