Yannick Hanfmann vs Alejandro Tabilo Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Italian Open

29th seed Alejandro Tabilo plays his first ever match in the Italian Open. He received a first round bye and now takes on unseeded Yannick Hanfmann in the last 64. Waiting in round three could well be the top seed Novak Djokovic. Tabilo is at a career high 32nd in the latest ranking list and down to 33rd in the live rankings. He's had an impressive 2024 and is 20th in the Live ATP Race. One tournament has been won by him this year, that was in Auckland on an outdoor hard court. He played on the South American clay court tour and reached the final in Santiago. Last month saw him get to the last four in Bucharest but lost in his first match in Madrid. He then entered the Challenger Tour event in Aix-en-Provence and he won that for his second title of the year. 

To reach round three, Hanfmann must beat Tabilo for the first time. The pair met in Buenos Aires earlier this year with Tabilo winning in straight sets for the loss of only four games. Hanfmann is 59th in the latest rankings but down to 84th in the live list and also at that position in the Live Race. His drop down the overall rankings is because he's defending the points earned when reaching the last eight here in 2023. That's the only time he's played in this tournament. The German also played on the South American clay court tour and got to the last eight in Cordoba but only won one match in the other three events played. Three of his four main draw matches in the European clay court tour had been lost before beating Jakub Mensik in round one. That was revenge after losing to him in Madrid. Tabilo is in good form and we go for him to get the victory.
