Our next League Two match prediction takes in a team familiar with top spot in the league. Walsall will host Cumbrian side Barrow on Saturday with the home side seeking to remain at the top of the table. However, the visiting Bluebirds have been tough to score against in recent league games and will seek to thwart the Saddlers lofty ambitions.
Walsall currently occupy top spot in League Two, a position they held for a lengthy period last season before hitting a dismal run of form. After 12 games, they have 26 points, two more than Swindon in second. Barrow are 18th in the table with 14 points from their dozen games.
League form is excellent for Walsall at present. They are unbeaten in eight games and have won two of their last three league matches. That includes a 3-1 away win at Accrington Stanley, a 2-1 home win over Bristol Rovers. The Saddlers then lost in the Football League Trophy (1-0 at home to Northampton) and last week drew 1-1 at Crawley Town in the league.
Barrow drew 0-0 in their last home league game against Shrewsbury. They then lost 2-1 at home to Tranmere in the Football League Trophy but in their last league game earned a 0-0 draw away to Oldham Athletic.
