Sevilla will go in search of their third straight La Liga win when they travel to the Mestalla to face Valencia. The two sides aren’t having great campaigns, Sevilla placed 15th while Valencia are ninth heading into this game. Valencia will welcome a return to play at home following their 2-0 loss to Las Palmas in the last game. It was a painful one at it, with Valencia, seemingly cantering to a goalless draw, conceded twice in the final two minutes of regular time. That defeat left them on 38 points, three behind sixth place and a dent to their European ambitions. It was their ninth loss in La Liga and Valencia will want to avoid being the first in the top half to lose 10 matches. The positive side to this game is that Valencia have done well at home this season. Seven of their 10 wins in the current season came at the Mestalla. They haven't lost in the last seven home league matches, winning five. In this game they have the chance to complete a double against Sevilla. Valencia beat Sevilla 2-1 in their first meeting of the season in August.

It will do their confidence a lot of good that Sevilla come here unbeaten in three matches.
