USA vs Jamaica Prediction & Betting Tips - CONCACAF Nations League

The semi-finals of the CONCACAF Nations League will get underway this week, with the USA taking on Jamaica at the AT&T Stadium on Friday. The hosts are ranked 13th according to FIFA World Rankings, while the visitors are 57th. USA booked their place in the final four of this competition by overcoming Trinidad and Tobago in the quarter-final. However, despite heading into that tie as the favourites, it was far from an easy win. After taking a three-goal lead at home in the first leg, the USA were beaten 2-1 in the second leg but managed to get through on aggregate. Since then, the defending champions have played just one match, a friendly against Slovenia in January, which they lost 1-0. Still, they have a very good home record, with just one defeat in their last ten competitive matches, along with seven wins and two draws. The USA are unbeaten in their last six matches against this opponent and are the clear favourites in this one. 

Meanwhile, Jamaica have made major strides forward over the last year and will feel that if they can keep this match close, they will have a real chance of pulling off a late upset. The Reggae Boyz were excellent during the group stages and ended top of their group, which featured the likes of Honduras and Cuba. They were unbeaten in their four matches as well, recording three wins and a draw to end three points clear of their closest challengers. In the quarter-final, Jamaica were underdogs against Canada and looked to be heading out of the competition after losing the first leg 2-1. However, they rallied remarkably in the second leg to claim a 3-2 win, which saw them progress on away goals. Jamaica are unbeaten in ten away games in all competitions and cannot be ruled out of this one just yet.
