Ugo Humbert vs Alexander Bublik Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Dubai Open

The top two seeds in the Dubai Tennis Championships both lost in the semi-finals. That leaves us with a final between the fifth seed Ugo Humbert and seventh seeded Alexander Bublik. Whoever wins this match will be winning their second ATP Tour title of the year. Ugo Humbert caused a big shock when defeating top seed and defending champion Daniil Medvedev in straight sets. That's taken the Frenchman up to a career high 15th and beating Bublik will see him rise another place. He's tenth in the Live ATP Race and could go as high as sixth if winning the title on Saturday. He won the Marseille title earlier this year but had a bit of a dip in form after that. He's rediscovered his touch this week in this outdoor hard court tournament. It's not been an easy route to the final with him losing the first set to both Gael Monfils and Hurbert Hurkacz.

Alexander Bublik is also at a new career high. His three set win over second seeded Andrey Rublev on Friday has taken him up to 19th and winning this tournament will see him go rise to 16th. He's already in the top ten of the ATP Race moving up to ninth after Friday's win. His title win this year was in Montpellier and he's reached this final for the loss of two sets. One of those was lost to qualifier Tomas Machac in the first round. The other was in his semi-final after dropping the first set to Rublev. It's been a long route to the final with five tie-breaks played. He was one set all and 6-5 up in the third when Rublev was disqualified. That's his second consecutive win  without having to win a match point after his quarter final opponent retired hurt. We tip Humbert to win this final.
