Netherlands have scored seven goals across their first two Group F matches at this World Cup, while Tunisia have shipped nine at the other end of the pitch. Goals have followed both sides throughout the group stage, and we're expecting plenty more when these two finally meet on Thursday at Arrowhead Stadium.
Ronald Koeman's Oranje top Group F on four points, having thrashed Sweden 5-1 following their 2-2 stalemate with Japan. Netherlands now need just a point to confirm first place ahead of the knockouts. In contrast, Tunisia, the most-anticipated African team following their stellar qualifying campaign, arrived already eliminated after winning zero points from two games.
Most interesting, though, are the nine goals conceded by the Eagles of Carthage's in just two games. A team that went their entire qualifying round without conceding a goal as the first team ever, is now on track to finish the group stages with the most goals conceded.

Tunisia - Netherlands: Form Analysis

The Netherlands have grown into this tournament rather than stormed out of the gates. A 2-2 draw with Japan in their opener was a tense, error-strewn watch, but Koeman's side responded in their second match by putting five goals past Sweden without reply.
Cody Gakpo and Memphis Depay have both been heavily involved in that attacking improvement, and the Oranje now look like the most dangerous side left in Group F heading into the finale.
Tunisia have failed to keep a clean sheet in either of their two matches at this World Cup.
Tunisia's tournament has unravelled in the opposite direction. A 1-5 defeat to Sweden in their opener cost Sabri Lamouchi his job, and Herve Renard's first match in interim charge ended in a 0-4 defeat to Japan.
Their only goal of the tournament came from centre-back Omar Rekik against Japan. And that’s hardly the platform Renard wanted to build from with Tunisia already eliminated and pride the only thing left to play for.
With both sides shipping goals freely and the Netherlands' attack finally clicking, conditions look perfect for another high-scoring affair in Kansas City.

Tunisia & Netherlands Squad Analysis
Captain Ellyes Skhiri, the Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder with 81 caps, remains the side's most experienced figure, while Burnley's Hannibal Mejbri offers energy and craft in midfield.
But, lapses at the back that has caused Tunisia their dream World Cup campaign.
Abdelmouhib Chamakh managed only one save from 13 shots in the 5-1 loss to Sweden.
2nd-choice keeper, Aymen Dahmen replaced Chamkh, but still only managed to save one of Japan’s 11 shots, of which four became goals.
Their defensive identity has all but survived contact with the tournament itself, and Renard has had no time to organise a side he inherited mid-competition after Lamouchi's sacking.
Netherlands have no such uncertainty. Virgil van Dijk continues to anchor the back line, while Gakpo and Depay give Koeman a front line capable of punishing any hesitation in the Tunisian ranks.
With top spot in Group F still to be confirmed, Koeman has every incentive to field a strong attacking unit rather than rest his key players, which should keep the goals flowing from the Dutch side.

Our Tunisia vs Netherlands Prediction
Both ends of this Group F finale point toward goals. Netherlands have found the net seven times already at this World Cup and have every reason to keep attacking with top spot still on the line. Meanwhile Tunisia have failed to keep a clean sheet in either of their group games, conceding nine in the process (the most in the WC so far).
With Renard still settling into the job and Koeman's side finally clicking in attack, a repeat of Group F's earlier high-scoring matches looks the likeliest outcome. Hence, our Tunisia vs Netherlands prediction is more than 2.5 goals.
