Tallon Griekspoor’s campaign at the Rome Masters will start in the first round with a match against Miomir Kecmanovic. This is the fifth meeting between the two players, and the winner will progress to face Arthur Fils. Read on for our prediction.

Dutch No. 1 Tallon Griekspoor has the head-to-head advantage in this fixture with three wins in the four meetings with Kecmanovic. His progress this season has been hampered by the fact that he keeps meeting top players very early in the events he takes part in.

At the Madrid Masters, he fell to Jack Draper in the second round. In Munich his journey ended in the third round, at the hands of Alexander Zverev.

Five times this season, Kecmanovic has suffered defeat in the opening round. Three of those defeats were in Masters events.
