Stade Toulousain will play host to Bayonne in this 2024-25 Top 14 semi-final playoff on Friday at Stade Ernest-Wallon. Stade Toulousain finished top of the table with 90 points in the regular season to secure a home semi-final playoff fixture. They have been the standard bearers in the French top flight this season and are considered favorites to win the title. 

Notably, Ugo Mola's side hasn't really impressed lately, losing two of their last four league matches. This includes a 42-35 away defeat to USA Perpignan in their last game. However, they have been on a terrific run at home, winning 13 of their last 14 matches in all competitions.

Bayonne finished fourth in the standings with 68 points to qualify for the playoffs. They thrashed Clermont 20-3 to book their place in the last four, thanks to a remarkable 11-0 second-half shutout victory. 

However, Gregory Patat's side hasn't won any of their last six away matches, losing five and drawing one. They have also suffered defeats in their last three trips to Stade Ernest-Wallon, losing the last two by 20 points or more.
