Sporting Lisbon can boost their hopes of reaching the Europa League knockout stages. They host Rakow Czestochowa who are bottom of Europa League Group D. Sporting trail leaders Atalanta by three points and are ahead of third placed Sturm Graz on head-to-head results. The Primeira League club have four points from their first three games and after this fixture travel to Atalanta before hosting Sturm Graz. They began the group well with a 2-1 win away to Sturm Graz after trailing in the second half. A 2-1 home loss to Atalanta followed and they then gave away the lead and drew 1-1 in Rakow. Sporting are three points clear at the top of the Primeira League and five of their last six games have been won.

Rakow are bottom of the group and only have one point so far. The Polish side lost their opening group fixture 2-0 at Atalanta and then lost 1-0 at home to Sturm Graz. Their only point so far came in the home draw with Sporting. Three points separate them from third place and even finishing in that position and moving into the Europa Conference League will be a difficult task if losing to Sporting. They have only scored one goal in their three group games so far. It's easier for them to score in their domestic league with a 5-0 home win Zaglebie Lubin at the weekend. Away form has produced one win in their last four games over 90 minutes. None of their last five European games have been won and we tip Sporting to win this game.
