Southampton look to continue their impressive run in the Championship. They are second in the table and host Huddersfield Town who are down in 21st position and battling relegation. The Saints made a slow start to the new season but go into this game unbeaten in their last 21 games in the Championship. Their last league loss was at Middlesbrough at the end of September. They are now 11 points behind leaders Leicester City but in the second and final automatic promotion spot. Southampton lead third placed Leeds United b just a point but do have a game in hand. With Leeds home to bottom of the table Rotherham on Saturday, Southampton may well need to win this game to stay in the top two. They have won their last eight home league games and the last six by an aggregate of 18-1.

Down at the other end of the Championship table, Huddersfield Town are only a place and three points clear of the relegation zone. They have only won six league games this season but drawn 13 and lost 11. Scoring is a problem with only 33 goals in 30 games, 22 less than their opponents from a game less. They are unbeaten in their last four league fixtures and it's looking like a battle between them and QPR for the final relegation spot. Only two away league games have been won by the Terriers this season. They've not won any of their last six away league fixtures and we tip Southampton to get the win and lead at both half and full time.
