Servette Geneva vs Sheriff Tiraspol Prediction & Betting Tips - Europa League

The bottom two sides in Europa League Group G face each other in this game. Third placed Servette host Sheriff Tiraspol who are bottom of the group. Both sides have one point from their three games and are five behind second placed Slavia Prague and eight adrift of leaders Roma. It very much looks therefore that this game may well just decide who is likely to finish in third place and be transferred into the Europa Conference League. Servette started this group with a 2-0 home loss to Slavia and were then well beaten 4-0 at Roma. Their last group fixture was away to Sheriff Tiraspol and that ended in a 1-1 draw. Servette led that game 1-0 going into the 80th minute but then conceded an equalizer. They are fourth in the Swiss Super League and unbeaten in their last six league and cup games since that loss to Roma. Home form has seen them without a loss in their last four league and cup fixtures.

Sheriff Tiraspol prop up the group and know a loss in Switzerland is going to make it very difficult indeed to even finish third. They also lost their first two group games with a 2-1 home loss to Roma being followed by a 6-0 thrashing at Slavia Prague. At least they drew with Servette but could have done with a home win in that game.They top the Moldova Super Liga and are unbeaten in their last six games since that defeat at Roma. Away form in Europe is not encouraging with on no wins in their last five Europa League games though two of the last three have been drawn. We go for both teams to score in this game.
