The 2025 World Series of Darts heads into event four with the US Darts Masters set to get underway on Friday, and Rob Cross will be taking on Danny Lauby in the first round. The winner of this match between Voltage and The Cujo will face either Luke Humphries or Stowe Buntz in the quarter-finals. Let’s get into the match prediction. 

Rob Cross is set to return to the US to defend his US Darts Masters title, which he won by beating Gerwyn Price in a nail-biting final 8-7 last year. 

Cross enters this competition off the back of a good run in the Nordic Darts Masters, where he reached the final but lost to Stephen Bunting 8-4. 

While Voltage had an underwhelming Premier League season in which he failed to reach the Playoffs, he has enjoyed success in the World Series, having won the Dutch Darts Masters in January. 

Meanwhile, Danny Lauby comes into the competition ranked 86th in the world and following a second-round defeat to Gary Anderson at the Players Championship 19 last week. 

The Cujo has been finding positive results hard to come by of late, failing to progress beyond the second round of any competition since the UK Open back in February. 

Lauby is averaging 84.87 over the last 12 months and has a checkout percentage of 29.57%. He has only won three of his last 15 matches across all competitions.
