PSV are still searching for a first win in Group B of the Champions League, as they prepare to host Lens. The hosts are bottom of this group on two points, while Lens are second with five points. PSV have been dominant in the Eredivisie, but have struggled to carry the same form to Europe. However, they’ve posted much improvement after their opening Group B 4-0 loss to Arsenal. They’ll be particularly irked by the fact that they haven't been very solid defensively. After three matches, they’ve conceded seven times, while only scoring three goals. PSV have the worst goal difference in this group, at -4. They are coming from a 6-0 win over Heracles, the fourth time in five that they scored three or more. Their run in the Champions League, however, has just a win in the last five matches. In those five matches, they conceded two or more in three. Two weeks ago, they drew 1-1 with Lens away in France.

Lens’ return to the Champions League after two decades hasn’t been too shady. They have a win and two draws coming into Match Day 4 action. However, they have just one win in the last five games in all competitions. Four draws in the last five matches indicate they still have a lot to do to get over the line. Their 4-0 win over Nantes in Ligue 1 is all they have to show for the last five games. In three of their last four matches, Lens kept clean sheets, but failed to score in two. The French side has never kept a clean sheet in the Champions League. This will be their 10th Champions League game in history.
