The red-hot Oklahoma City Thunder will travel to take on the struggling Portland Trail Blazers in their next outing in the NBA. Currently top of the Western Conference, the Thunder are 10.5 games clear of their hosts, who are down in ninth. Read on to find our prediction for this match.

The Blazers are struggling and are coming into this round having lost 11 times and sit three games below .500. With only three wins in their last 10 outings, they looked destined for another setback.

The Blazers, who earned a surprise win over the Thunder at home earlier in the month, are coming off a 115-102 loss to the Spurs. Portland’s struggles have largely been due to injuries, with five players ruled out for this game, including Jrue Holiday and Scoot Henderson.

The Thunder are the hottest team in the NBA and look set to defend their NBA Championship title. Mike Daigneult’s men have lost just once so far in 20 games contested.

That sole loss was against the Blazers, and they were able to avenge it when the two sides met up earlier in the week in OKC. The Thunder, who lead the league in plenty of categories, including blowout wins, earned a dominant 122-95 victory.

Since losing the last time they were in Portland, OKC has won 11 consecutive games, with the most recent being a 113-105 success over the Timberwolves. Isaiah Hartenstein is ruled out for this game, and so too are Nikola Topic and Thomas Sorber.
