The Pohang Steelers return to Steel Yard Stadium for a K-League clash against Jeju FC on Saturday afternoon. The Steelers are fifth in the league standings, while the Tangerines are ninth after 19 league games. Let’s get into the match prediction. 

With Ulsan not scheduled to play this weekend and Gimcheon only playing on Sunday, the Pohang Steelers will have an opportunity to move up to third place with a win in this match.

The Steelers missed out on that opportunity last week when they were held to a 1-1 draw by basement club Daegu. They have now won three, lost one and drawn one of their last five top-flight matches.

Pohang have been solid at home this term, earning 16 of their 29-point tally at Steel Yard. They have won five of their last seven home games and kept clean sheets in four of their last eight. 

Meanwhile, Jeju were building up a head of steam with three consecutive wins for the first time this season before they were stopped in their tracks last week, losing 1-0 at home to Gwangju. 

That result ended a five-match unbeaten run for the Tangerines (W3 D2 L0) and marked the first time they had failed to find the target since May 23 against league leaders Jeonbuk. 

However, the visitors are still unbeaten in their last three away games (W2 D1 L0), which is a notable upturn after failing to win any of their first seven on the road this season.
