The Orlando Magic will be at home to welcome the Atlanta Hawks for their next NBA regular season assignment. Orlando is currently sixth in the Eastern Conference and is 5.5 games clear of 11th-placed Atlanta. The Magic have had a torrid run in the last week or so and have managed just two wins in their last six games. One of those wins however came last time out and they will be keen to keep this momentum going. Jamahl Mosley’s men, wrapping up a four-game road trip to the West, defeated the Nuggets 122-120. It was their 20th win of the season and took their record to five games above .500. The Magic, who are averaging 116.9 points when at home, have won 12 of 16 matches at Amway Centre. They could be without eight players here though with one of those being their second-leading scorer Franz Wagner.
The Atlanta Hawks’ inconsistencies continued last time out as they were blown out by the Pacers. Coming into the match off the back of two successive wins, Quin Snyder’s men lost by 34 as they gave up 150 points. They are now six games below .500 and are half a game from the playoff places. Atlanta possesses the third-best offensive record in the league so far and is scoring 122.6 points a night. The team is also playing much better when away from home and 11 of their 14 total wins have come on the road. Atlanta will miss the services of three players here with De’Andre Hunter one of them. Hunter is averaging 14.9 points and has missed the last seven matches with a knee problem.
