Olympiacos vs FK TSC Backa Topola Prediction & Betting Tips - Europa League

Olympiacos will entertain TSC Backa Topola on Thursday to conclude the group stages of the Europa League. They currently sit third in Group A and have a three-point cushion on TSC who are fourth. Olympiacos are out of the running for a place in the knockout rounds of this competition. They however can keep their European journey going by transferring to the Conference League. To do so they must ensure they finish third. A draw will see them book a knockout playoff round slot in Europe’s third-tier tournament. The Greek giants have struggled in Europe and have won only once in their five matches in this group. They have been defeated three times with two of those defeats coming in their last two matchdays. The Legends haven’t taken to the pitch in almost two weeks with their last match coming at the start of December. They drew 2-2 with Volos NFC in that fixture which was a positive result after being thumped 5-0 by Freiburg.

Backa Topola have been active more recently than Olympiacos which should be a positive for them coming into this match. They however have stuttered in their recent fixtures and have won just twice in six games. TSC drew 0-0 with Radnicki Kragujevac in the Super Liga this past weekend to drop further down in the title race. The Serbian side is yet to win in Group A and have managed only one point. This was earned in the reverse match with Olympiacos after a 2-2 draw on matchday one. With the point, they remain with a chance at qualifying for the Conference League but to do so, they must win here. A win by any margin will see them edge Olympiacos for third on the head-to-head rule.
