The in-form OKC Thunder have returned home, where they are to welcome the Portland Trail Blazers in their next match in the NBA. They possess the best record in the Western Conference and are 8.5 games clear of their ninth-place visitors. Read on to find our prediction for this match.

The Thunder are streaking and have been the top team not only in the West but in the entire NBA. Mike Daigneault’s men have won 16 of 17 games and haven’t lost any of their last eight contests.

Their only loss, a 121-119 setback three weeks ago, came against the Blazers. This latest encounter is therefore more significant for OKC. The Thunder are coming off a 144-113 blowout success away against the Jazz.

Jalen Williams is still not ready to feature due to a wrist concern and is joined on the sidelines by four others, including Aaron Wiggins.

The Blazers have regressed and do not look like the same team that won five of their opening eight games. Since defeating the Thunder at home, they have won just two of eight contests.

One of those victories came last time out, and they will be hoping that it is a significant step in finding their form. Currently coached by assistant head coach Thiago Splitter, the Blazers battled to defeat the Warriors 127-123 on the road.
