Seventh seed Novak Djokovic continues his redemption run at the US Open by facing the qualifier Jan-Lennard Struff next. Their fourth meeting at a major is also their second meeting at Flushing Meadows and will be in the fourth round. Read on to find our prediction for this match.

Novak Djokovic hasn’t won a major since 2023. Last year, he contested just one final, and this year, he has yet to advance past the semi-finals. This is his longest streak without a Slam win since a stretch between 2016 to 2018.

The four-time US Open champion, who surprisingly lost in the third round here last year, is coming off a 3-1 victory over Cameron Norrie. Champion of a record 24 majors, Djokovic has moved up to sixth in the live ranking.

Jan-Lennard Struff has already overpowered two seeded players this week and will fancy another major upset. The German is having quite the campaign in New York and is on a six-match winning streak starting from the qualifiers.

Struff, who defeated 11th seed Holger Rune in five sets in the second round, is coming off a 3-0 success against 17th seed Frances Tiafoe. This is only the third time in his career that Struff is contesting a fourth rounder at a major.

Advancing this far has seen him shoot up 46 places to 98th in the live ranking.
