Norwich vs Blackburn Prediction & Betting Tips - Championship

Norwich City will play host to Blackburn Rovers on matchday 15 of the Championship this Sunday. The hosts are currently in 17th place in the league standings, while the visitors are 12th. Norwich are in desperate need of a positive result. The Canaries lost their last match 3-1 to Sunderland, extending their recent record to five matches without a victory. Four of those matches ended in defeat. Norwich began the season with four consecutive home wins; however, with their dip in form, they have now lost three of their last four. They also conceded two or more goals in each of those defeats. The hosts' biggest problem this season has been in defence. In 14 games, Norwich have let in 27 goals, which is the worst record in the league. However, they did win the last meeting against this opponent and will need to do everything possible to do likewise this time. 

Meanwhile, Blackburn come into this match off the back of a 2-0 loss to Premier League outfit Chelsea, which knocked them out of the Carabao Cup. That result came after a 1-0 defeat to Swansea City in the league, which brought an end to a three-match winning streak. The Rovers have won six, drawn one and lost seven of their 14 league games this season, leaving them on 19 points. However, with the Championship table still being very compact, there are only four points between them and the top five teams. The visitors have won back-to-back away matches ahead of this one, beating QPR 4-0 and Millwall 2-1 a couple of weeks ago. While they do not have the best record against this opponent, Blackburn will fancy their chances in this one based on the form Norwich are currently in.
