Nigeria and Hungary will face off in Group B at the 2026 Women’s Basketball World Cup on Saturday afternoon. Hungary have won five of their last seven games and we’re going with the value on the underdog here as our main prediction.

Meanwhile, Hungary are the lowest-seeded team at the Women’s Basketball World Cup this year, but they gave a good account of themselves despite losing their opening match 99-53 to France.
Dorka Kata Juhász and Agnes Studer were the team’s leading scorers in their loss against the French. As a team, Hungary shot just 32% from the field and recorded 12 assists and 40 rebounds.
