Barring their 4-1 victory over Bradford in midweek, Newcastle have struggled to find the net this season, with Nick Woltemade yet to add to his tally since scoring on debut against Wolves.
Summer signing Yoane Wissa’s absence has not helped matters, though Anthony Gordon will be eligible to return to the attack this week, having now served his three-match suspension.
