The second match on Night 10 of the Premier League darts season in Manchester will see Nathan Aspinall taking on Rob Cross this coming Thursday. The Asp is sixth in the league standings, while Voltage is one spot above him in fifth. Let’s get into the match prediction.
Nathan Aspinall failed to add to his 10-point tally in this year’s Premier League last week when he was knocked out in the opening round of the competition 6-2 by Stephen Bunting.
The Asp had a much better performance on the European Tour 3 over the weekend, reaching the final of the competition, but he was once again bested by Bullet, losing 8-5 in a best of 15.
Notably, while Aspinall has found wins hard to come by in the Premier League (six wins in 15 matches), he has pinned the third-most 180s in the competition (47) behind Littler (106) and Humphries (52).
Meanwhile, Rob Cross outscored Luke Humphries in his opening round match last week, averaging 99.68 to Cool Hand’s 98.00, but still ended up losing the match 6-3.
That result marked the first time that Voltage failed to progress to the semi-final of a Premier League night since Night 3 in Dublin when he lost his opening match to his upcoming opponent.
Importantly, Cross pulled out of the European Tour 3 over the weekend, saying he is “not feeling great”, and it is still unclear if he will feature in Night 10 of this competition.

Voltage revealed after withdrawing from the European Tour 3 at the weekend that he will miss the next few events due to not feeling great, which makes him difficult to back, even if he does show up on Thursday night. Our Nathan Aspinall vs Rob Cross prediction is Nathan Aspinall wins the match.
