The pick of the matches in gameweek ten of the Serie A this weekend will see Napoli play host to AC Milan on Sunday evening. The hosts are currently in fourth place in the league standings, while the visitors are second. The defending champions made a mixed start this season, recording two wins in their first five matches. That also included a loss to Lazio and draws against Genoa and Bologna. While they did bounce back with two solid wins at the end of last month, The Blues suffered another setback before the international break, losing 3-1 to Fiorentina. As a result, they are now on 17 points after nine games and five points behind league leaders Inter Milan. The biggest surprise in Napoli’s performances this season have come at home, where they have lost two of their four matches so far. Still, their class is undeniable, and the bookmakers make them the favourites in this one. 

Meanwhile, it has not been a good return from the international break for AC Milan. They were beaten 1-0 by Juventus in the league last weekend before suffering a 3-0 defeat to PSG in the Champions League in midweek. That loss to Juve brought an end to a six-match-unbeaten league run, which included four wins and two draws. Nevertheless, a win here could easily get them back on track. Milan have won four of their five away matches this season, with their only loss coming against their rivals Inter Milan.
