World No. 3 Alexander Zverev will be targeting a better showing when he takes on Marcos Giron in the first round at Halle. This will be the fourth meeting between the two players and will produce the opponent for Lorenzo Sonego or Jan-Lennard Struff. Let’s have a look at the match prediction.

Zverev will be playing a fourth ATP event at home, looking to add to his Munich title. Losing the final against Taylor Fritz must have been painful, but at Halle he has the opportunity to bounce back immediately.

Against Giron, we expect a return to winning ways for Zverev.

Giron isn’t doing well at all, and his placing as the underdog coming into this match is deserved. The American lost each of his three previous meetings with Zverev and in the process managed just one set.
