Real Madrid will seek to return to winning ways in the EuroLeague when they travel to play Maccabi Tel Aviv next. After five rounds of play, they enter this match in seventh place in the table while their hosts are in 19th. Read on for our prediction of the match. 

Maccabi Tel Aviv are having a torrid start to the season and are desperate for a win. The Israeli giants, who are playing their home games in Serbia, have managed just one win in their five European outings. 

Stretching it out to domestic action, Oded Kattash’s men have won just four of nine fixtures. Currently on a two-match skid in Europe, Maccabi are coming off a narrow 95-94 loss at home to Olympiacos in the competition.

Real Madrid were pegged back last time out in Europe by Crvena Zvezda and will be keen to make a response. 

The Spanish heavyweights had assumed top spot in the EuroLeague going into that matchday five fixture that ended in a disappointing 90-75 result. 

They did bounce back over the weekend in domestic league action, outlasting San Pablo Burgos 90-80 at home. Sergio Scariolo’s men have won three times in Europe. However, each victory has come at home.
