Premier League champion Luke Humphries will get his Nordic Darts Masters campaign started with a tricky match against Madars Razma on Friday night. Cool Hand Luke is the number-one ranked player in the world, while the Latvian Razzmatazz is ranked 49th. Let’s get into the match prediction.

Luke Humphries will be brimming with confidence this week, set to enter the Nordic Darts Masters off the back of winning the Premier League at the O2 Arena last week. 

Despite finishing second in the group stage, Cool Hand Luke found extra in the Playoffs, taking down Nathan Aspinall 10-7 in the semis before downing Luke Littler 11-8 in the final.

Humphries is the joint-shortest-priced favourite in the opening round of this competition and has a record of seven wins and three defeats in his last 10 matches. 

Meanwhile, Madars Razma will come into this match following a first-round defeat to 102nd-ranked Darryl Pilgrim at the European Tour 8 competition over the weekend. 

The Latvian Razzmatazz has been in mixed form in recent times, recording seven wins and eight losses in his last 15 matches across all competitions since early April. 

However, it is worth noting that in five previous encounters against Humphries, the Latvian has won three times, including their last two meetings, though the most recent was back in 2022.
