In a Group C clash, fifth-placed Lesotho and bottom-placed Zimbabwe are set to lock horns at Peter Mokaba Stadium on matchday ten of the FIFA World Cup African qualifiers. Both sides are no longer in the hunt for qualification and enter this clash with nothing but pride to play for. Here's our match prediction.

Lesotho have nothing to play for in the qualifiers. With nine points accumulated from nine games, they are six points behind the play-off spot.

Last time out, Leslie Notsi's side were drawn against Nigeria. They did put up a spirited fight, but couldn't secure maximum points, suffering a narrow 2-1 defeat at the Peter Mokaba Stadium. That result extended their losing streak to five matches across all competitions.

The Crocodiles will be hoping for a favorable outcome this time around, especially against a side they've gotten the better of in the qualifiers, winning 2-0 on the road.

Zimbabwe comes into this match smiling from ear to ear after their recent penultimate qualifying match against South Africa at the Moses Mabhida Stadium. 

Despite not being able to secure all three points in that match, the visitors had the pleasure of sharing the spoils in a goalless draw, which ultimately dented their opponents' qualification hopes.

In light of that result, the Warriors have now navigated nine qualifying games without a win, recording five draws and four losses.
