Leeds vs Swansea Prediction & Betting Tips - Championship

Third placed Leeds United host Swansea City who are 17th in the Championship. The weekend saw Leeds lose a lead at Rotherham to draw their Yorkshire derby match 1-1. That was a missed opportunity with second placed Ipswich Town losing at West Bromwich Albion the following day. Leeds are now seven points adrift of the second automatic promotion spot. United are the only side in the Championship with an unbeaten home league record. Their return to the second level of English football began with three consecutive home league draws. Since then, five in a row has been won with them scoring at least twice in all but one of them. Their most recent home victory was a 2-1 win over Plymouth Argyle. Daniel James scored the opening goal in that win, the third successive home league game in which he's been the first goal scorer. Both teams have scored in three of their last four matches and the last three home Championship games.

Swansea City are eight points behind the final promotion play-off position but the same number above the relegation zone. The Swans only drew 2-2 at home with Hull City on Saturday. That was a disappointing result as they had led 2-0 in that game. They have now gone three league games without a win with just one victory in the last six played. Away form has been a story of two halves. They began the season with just one point being earned from their first four away league games. The first three were all lost but they went four unbeaten on the road (winning three in a row) before being beaten 3-2 at Ipswich Town, despite taking an early lead. That was the fourth time this season that at least a couple of goals have been conceded in away league fixtures. We suggest a bet on Leeds to win and both teams getting on the scoresheet.
