Teenager Learner Tien has continued his good form this week. Round three of the outdoor hard court Shanghai Masters sees him take on the 30th seed Cameron Norrie. Here's our match prediction.

Tien reached the last eight in Hangzhou and then he was the runner-up in Beijing. There were wins over Lorenzo Musetti and Daniil Medvedev before losing in the final to Jannik Sinner.

So far in Shanghai, the 19-year-old has beaten Miomir Kecmanovic and Corentin Moutet. In both matches he had to come from a set down to win the match  He's 37th in the live rankings and has a 25-12 hard court record in 2025.

This is the third match between the pair. They are level at 1-1 with Tien winning the most recent match in Acapulco this year. Both were played on hard courts. For the winner of this third meeting, their last 16 opponent will be either 16th seed Daniil Medvedev or 18th-seeded Alejandro Davidovich-Fokina.

Cameron Norrie had a marathon three-setter in the last round. The British player had to go to a third set tie-break to beat Arthur Cazaux. He took the first set but lost the second 6-0. He's 12-15 on hard courts this year.

The win ended a run of three successive losses in singles tournaments. Norrie is up to 32nd in the live rankings.
