Scotland ended their Six Nations campaign well with a rare away win in Wales. In the Autumn Nations Cup, they are in the same group as Fiji, France and their opening opponents Italy. They won three of their five games in the Six Nations, finishing in fourth, only four points behind the top two. That was a good comeback after losing their first two games against Ireland and England. The next three were all won and that included a 17-0 away win in Italy. They welcome back Duncan Weir for this game. He’ll be making his first start in four years and returns after injuries to both Finn Russell and Adam Hastings. He’s one of four changes to the team that beat Wales. This new tournament gives them the chance to play competitive matches in the lead up to the 2021 Six Nations championship.
Italy had another miserable Six Nations, again finishing bottom. They will have enough wooden spoons soon to start a restaurant. All five of their games were lost and they failed to score in two of them with just five scored at home to England in their most recent match. Their hope in this competition must be to get a win over Fiji, who they have beaten six times in 12 meetings. It’s four years since they recorded a win over a top-tier nation. A poor performance in this group may well be compared to how Georgia fare in the other. They have lost their last eight games against Scotland and another defeat looms here. Italy at home isn't a total walkover though, go for Scotland on a -10 points handicap.

They take on a Scottish side that has already won in Italy this year and without conceding a point. A similar result looks likely here, go for Scotland on a -10 handicap.
