Italy host England in the battle of the heavyweights in League A of the Nations League. With both teams suffering heavy defeats in their most recent international games and Hungary surprisingly topping the group also consisting of Germany, it is a huge game for both managers. The shock elimination from the World Cup finals seems to have impacted the Azzurri, who have won just two of their last six games since. England have also exhibited worrying signs in attack, having blanked in three of their last four, and will certainly need to step it up a notch to quieten the fears around England’s upcoming Qatar venture. It will also be a chance for England to get revenge on the Italians, after that lost Euro 2021 final and the draw at Wembley in the summer. The visitors have won six of their last ten away games, losing just once in normal time during that run.
