Istanbul Basaksehir vs Gaziantep FK Prediction & Betting Tips - Super Lig

Football can be a gut-wrenching game and you would need a strong stomach to withstand the twists and turns of the Super Lig title race. The current leaders of Turkey's top flight, Istanbul Basaksehir, take on ninth-placed Gaziantep on Monday, by which time they will probably have been knocked off their perch. The rest of the division plays before then, which gives title rivals like Trabzonspor an opportunity to take their place at the top. In the form Basaksehir are in, they won't sweat other results too much. Unbeaten at home since their opening match of the season at the Başakşehir Fatih Terim Stadium, they have built their title charge on the grounds of their fortress. They have won six of their last seven Super Lig matches at home, the brilliant form of Chelsea old boy Demba Ba helping the cause. He has scored six times and provided once in his last ten appearances. 

Four of the six wins picked up in that aforementioned Basaksehir streak were won by at least two goals. This does not bode well for a Gaziantep side without a win in six against their opponents. Recent results in the league do nothing to bolster the belief that a win in Istanbul is incoming, Gaziantep failing to win five of their last seven matches. Away from home, Gaziantep have come back with three points once in their last six trips. All signs point to a home win and a comfortable one too. Back Basaksehir minus one.
