Israel vs Denmark Prediction & Betting Tips - World Cup
by Nella Wagah | in World Cup Prediction
Denmark are one of the leading lights in European football and will be hoping to secure their place at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. The journey towards that starts this week with an away clash against Israel. On paper this shouldn’t be a tough one for Denmark, they are ranked 12th against a nation ranked 87th. In their last competitive match, Israel shocked Scotland in the Nations League, winning 1-0 at home, a victory that denied the Scots a chance to top their group. They have a bigger opponent to take on here but will take inspiration from that as they seek their second ever appearance at a FIFA World Cup. Israel start off their Group F journey on the back of three wins and seven losses in the last 14 matches and they have just two clean sheets in the process. They have scored two or more goals in just two of their last 10 matches, with seven of the 10 producing under 2.5 goals. Five losses in six World Cup qualifying matches doesn’t fit well with their prospects for this game and it is even worse with the team having lost three straight home matches in the qualifiers. They failed to score a goal in the three losses and have no clean sheet in the last eight qualification matches at home.
Denmark finished 2020 on a losing note, falling 4-2 to Belgium but they had a good game and the quality of their opponents is way better than those Israel have faced in their recent matches. The Danes go to this game having won five of their last six matches, while they have five clean sheets in seven matches. Their two losses in the last eight matches were both against Belgium, and those are their only losses in the last 23 matches. In four of their last five matches, Denmark have managed to score two goals or more and they are unbeaten in their last nine matches in the World Cup qualifiers. In those nine matches, they have won six. They have appeared at the World five times before, and being in a group that also has Scotland, Moldova, Faroe Islands and Austria, a strong start will be key is they hope to make another appearance.

Our Israel vs Denmark Prediction
Israel haven’t had a very impressive run ahead of this game and have failed to win any of their last three home matches in the qualifiers. Meanwhile, Denmark have four wins in their last five World Cup qualification matches played away from home. Israel’s matches have been low scoring, and they’ve failed to keep a clean sheet in eight qualifiers at home, while Denmark have managed to hit at least two goals in four of their last five matches. Back Denmark for a win here but with the game ending with under 2.5 goals.
