Inter Miami have a home date against Florida rivals Orlando City in their next MLS fixture on Saturday. Going into this game, Inter Miami are top of the standings in the Eastern Conference, while Orlando City are 11th. Inter Miami had a solid start to the season, beating Real Salt Lake 2-0. They were however short of their best in their most recent game, drawing 1-1 with LA Galaxy. It took Lionel Messi’s individual brilliance to save them, as the Argentine scored a stoppage time equalizer. The hosts will be keen to avoid a repeat of their early season slump that derailed their season last year. It actually took Messi’s arrival last season to change the club’s fortunes. With a number of top stars in the team this term, Inter Miami look good enough to go all the way to the playoff finals. They will hope to give it a strong start when they play their first away league game of the season. After a strong finish last season, Orlando City will feel as favorites coming into this game. They have just one loss in their last nine league matches, winning six.
