Eighth-seeded Iga Swiatek takes on the 23rd seed Clara Tauson for a place in the Wimbledon quarter-finals. The winner will be up against either 19th seed Liudmila Samsonova or unseeded Jessica Bouzas Mineiro in the last eight. Read our match prediction below.
Both of these players have had their fair share of problems on this surface. This year though has seen them starting to get some better grass court results. Iga Switak is yet to reach the semi-finals of this Grand Slam.
In fact, winning this match would take the Pole into only her second Wimbledon quarter-final. Last month saw the world number eight (now fourth in the live rankings) make it to her first grass court final but lost to Jessica Pegula in Berlin.
This tournament has produced victories over Polina Kudermetova, Caty McNally (losing the second set) and on Saturday, Danielle Collins.
Before this year, Clara Tauson had never won a match in the main draw of a WTA Tour grass court event. The Dane has had a good year and is finally showing some form on grass with a quarter-final in Nottingham.
