Heather Watson was a surprise winner in the first round of this grass court event at Queen's Club in London. Now the British veteran faces a tough task when facing the fourth seed Elena Rybakina. Here's our match prediction.

Watson was only 134th in the last ranking list and had to go through the qualifying rounds for this tournament. Her first match went to three sets but since then she hasn't dropped a set. Round one saw her defeat Yulia Putintseva for the loss of seven games.

Just one grass court singles tournament has been won by Watson and that was in 2009. Last week saw her beaten in the second round in Birmingham. If winning this match, next up will be either sixth seed Karolina Muchova or unseeded Tatjana Maria in the last eight.

Elena Rybakina won the Wimbledon title in 2022 and was a semi-finalist last year. That Wimbledon triumph remains the only grass court singles final she has ever reached. This year has seen one title won and has also made it to three other semi-finals.

There's been one previous match between these two players. That was played on a hard court five years ago with Rybakina winning in three sets.
